Email marketing systems for 7-8 figure ecom brands
Klaviyo flows and campaigns, written, designed and run by us inside your own account. A revenue line you can plan around.

Boring subject lines, bland templates and safe copy. The inbox is brutal: an email that gets ignored never earns another open, and anything forgettable is instantly deleted.
Here's what our email marketing actually looks like
Flow architecture
Welcome, checkout and browse abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment and winback. They earn while nobody touches them.

Reporting on attributed revenue
One number we answer for: the share of your revenue that's attributed to email. The rest is just how we get there.
The campaign calendar
Planned against your trading calendar, a month at a time. Every send goes to a segment, not the whole list.

List growth that feeds it
We build and test the pop-ups, embeds and lead magnets too. A flow is only worth what walks into the top of it.

Deliverability first
Authentication, sender reputation, list hygiene, sunsetting. Not glamorous, but it's why your sends land in the inbox and not the promotions tab.

Design and copy in-house

“Working with Engage Commerce has been a game-changer for our business, far exceeding our initial expectations. Their strategic approach to understand our brand, image, and our industry meant their email marketing efforts significantly boosted our sales in record time, with results that speak for themselves. We've seen record breaking months over the BFCM period, through to Christmas and the New Year, and now into 2025. I can confidently recommend the team at Engage Commerce to any brand that seriously wants to capitalise on the D2C market.”

Fifteen automations, each one written up the way we build it in Klaviyo. Help yourself.
The triggers, delays, splits and exits come straight out of our own Automation Playbook. Which flow owns which moment? That's lifecycle strategy.
Five segments, and the rule that builds each one
The test is not whether you can build the filter. It is whether the email would change.

Opened, clicked, visited or ordered inside a window you set. We start from the gap between a first and a second order on your own account, not from ninety days because ninety is a round number.
The default audience for every campaign.
One order behind them, and still inside that window.
The send that does not have to explain what you sell.
Repeat rate against your reorder gap, recency, and what they have actually paid across a window you set, after the returns, the refunds and the codes. All three have to hold at once.
Early access and first pick, not the discount everybody else gets.
On the list, still opening, nothing bought behind them.
A reason, not a discount.
One order, then nothing for longer than that same reorder gap.
Winback, while they still remember buying from you.
Everybody who is in none of them is the reason the list is bigger than the audience. They get a re-engagement run, and then they get suppressed rather than deleted, because a quiet profile still tells you something. A post-Black-Friday send to recent buyers opened at 67.17% on Rebel Aromas. Same list, a smaller audience.
Anyone can grow a list. We would rather grow the buyers in it.
The subscriber count is the easiest number on a dashboard to move. Put a big enough code in front of cold traffic and it climbs on its own, and it will not tell you who was ever going to buy. So every unit gets its own name and its own report, and gets read on submits and on the money behind them.

Village Wax Melts, on-site sign-up forms, January to December 2025. Across all of them, 457K views converted 54,721, which is 11.97%.
Big change or small, we wait for the orders
A tweak to one line or a whole new email, it runs the same way: until placed orders separate the two versions. Opens don't get a vote. Then you hear what it did, in a sentence.
- The metric, written down before the send
- Every test in the running log

Email success stories

FAQs

Why should I bother with email marketing when social media is all the rage?
Because owning your audience beats renting it. Social media algorithms change, feeds get cluttered, and your posts vanish into the void. Email lets you land directly in your audience's inbox; no middleman, no distractions. It's personal, it's direct, and it delivers a killer ROI that social media can only dream of.
How will your email marketing actually grow my business?
We're not about fluff and vanity metrics. Our email campaigns are laser-focused on driving real actions. Clicks, conversions, and sales. We craft compelling content that turns subscribers into loyal customers and casual buyers into brand advocates. It's about creating a movement around your brand that fuels sustainable growth.
How do we get started?
Easy! We'll kick things off with a growth consultation: half an hour inside your account on your brand, your audience, and your goals. From there, we'll craft a tailored strategy that's ready to set your email marketing on fire.
What is your pricing structure?
We offer customised packages because no two brands are the same. After understanding your needs, goals, and the scope of work, we'll provide a proposal that delivers maximum value without hidden fees or surprises.
Is email marketing legal in the UK?
Yes, as long as there's a lawful basis behind every name you send to. For ecommerce that's usually consent under UK GDPR, or the soft opt-in in PECR for people who've already bought from you. Every send also needs an honest sender name, an unsubscribe that works in one click, and a suppression list you actually honour. We build to those rules as standard. One caveat: we're marketers, not lawyers, so anything unusual goes to yours before it goes near your list.
What counts as consent, and what is the soft opt-in?
Consent is someone choosing you. A form they filled in themselves, wording that says what they'll get, no pre-ticked boxes. The soft opt-in is the narrower route in PECR: it lets you email an existing customer about your own similar products, as long as they had the chance to say no when they bought and in every send since. We keep the source and the timestamp on every profile in Klaviyo, so you can see which of the two a subscriber sits on. And bought or scraped lists? We don't touch them.
How do you handle our customer data?
It stays where it belongs: in your own accounts. We work inside your Klaviyo and your Shopify under named logins. We don't export your list anywhere, and we never reuse it on another client. Profiles that have stopped engaging get sunsetted, not kept on to make the list look bigger. Sending to them costs you deliverability as well as money. And when we stop working together, our access goes with us.
My audience is unique. How do you personalise emails for them?
Cookie-cutter templates? Not our style. We dive deep into data, behaviours, and preferences to create hyper-personalised emails. Think dynamic content, tailored product recommendations, and messages that speak directly to each subscriber's interests. It's personalisation that feels like a one-on-one conversation.
Can you help with email segmentation?
You bet. Segmentation is where the magic happens. We slice and dice your email list based on demographics, purchase history, engagement levels, and more. This means your subscribers get content that's super relevant to them, boosting engagement and conversions.
How do you grow my email list organically?
Forget buying lists, that's so yesterday (and also a terrible idea). We implement smart strategies like optimised signup forms, exclusive content offers, and engaging pop-ups that encourage visitors to join your tribe willingly. It's about attracting subscribers who actually want to hear from you.
Can you integrate with my current e-commerce platform or CRM?
Absolutely. We're tech-savvy and fluent in all major platforms. Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, you name it. We'll plug the email programme into the systems you already run so everything works like a well-oiled machine. No hiccups, just smooth operations.
How do you prevent my emails from ending up in the spam folder?
We're all about playing it smart. That means clean code, engaging content, and compliance with all the email best practices. We authenticate domains, manage sender reputations, and constantly monitor deliverability rates. Your emails will land where they belong; front and centre in the inbox.
Are your email marketing practices GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliant?
Absolutely. We take privacy and regulations seriously. Consent is king in our book. We ensure all our strategies are compliant with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant laws. Your audience's trust is non-negotiable.
How often will you send emails to my subscribers?
We believe in quality over quantity. We'll develop a sending frequency that's optimal for your audience. Enough to keep them engaged but not so much that we become annoying. It's all about finding that sweet spot where engagement thrives.
Do you handle email design and content creation?
Heck yes! Our creative team crafts stunning designs and compelling copy that align with your brand's voice and aesthetic. Eye-catching visuals, punchy headlines, and a message that actually lands.
Do you offer A/B testing for campaigns?
Yes, whether it's a subject line or a whole new email. Each test runs until placed orders separate the two versions, and you hear the result in a sentence. An open proves the send arrived. It doesn't tell you which version earned more.
How do you handle unsubscribes and list cleaning?
We keep your list healthy and engaged. That means regularly purging inactive subscribers, managing unsubscribes gracefully, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. A clean list equals better deliverability and more meaningful engagement.
What metrics do you track to measure success?
Placed orders and revenue per recipient first, because that is what the tests are decided on. Opens and clicks are tracked against your own baseline, so we know a send landed and got read, but they don't decide anything. It all comes back in one monthly report, with the next three moves.
Will I have access to reports and analytics?
Transparency is key. You'll get regular reports packed with insights and data on your campaign performance. We'll walk you through what's working, what's not, and our game plan moving forward. It's your brand; you deserve to know everything that's happening.
How quickly can I expect to see results?
The first few campaigns usually move engagement. Revenue takes longer, normally a few months, as the flows get rebuilt and the calendar starts running properly. Where a flow was missing altogether, you tend to see it inside the first few sends.
