What is in them

The three of them, by the numbers

3working documents, free, with no course upsell waiting behind them
30pages of flow diagrams, scoring sheets and campaign plans
25yes or no checks in the scorecard, scored out of fifty across five sections
10lifecycle automations in the playbook, drawn with their splits and delays
The order to read them

Diagnose, then build, then plan the quarter

A diagnosis, a build plan and a seasonal plan. Read them the other way round and you'll build flows you didn't need.

A page from The Email Flow Audit Scorecard headed How To Score It: the three scores a check can earn, and the four bands a total falls into, from The Leaky Bucket to Elite

Start by scoring what you already have

Twenty-five checks name which of the five areas is dragging the account down. Know that before you build a thing.

A page from the eCommerce Email Automation Playbook headed Welcome Email Series: an example template beside the flow drawn as a decision tree, with the sends, the delays, the splits and the exits

Then fill the gaps in the evergreen stack

Build the automations your score says are missing, in the order the diagrams give you. Ten of them, logic included.

The opening page of The Black Friday Email Marketing Playbook, carrying the BFCM timeline from the September warm up through to December, and how to read the campaign flow diagrams

Then plan the quarter that pays for the year

Q4 isn't a campaign that starts in November. It's a calendar that starts in September, and the BFCM playbook is that calendar.

How the download works

The honest bit

A free download normally costs you an email address. These are the documents we work from, not the ones we wrote to collect addresses. Read all three, build the lot yourself, and that's a good outcome by us.

The documents
Do I have to give you my email address for these?

No. Every button here opens the PDF. All 30 pages of it, no form in the way.

Which one should I read first?

The Email Flow Audit Scorecard. It's the shortest of the three at five pages, and it tells you which parts of the account are actually costing you money. Read the build playbooks first and you'll usually end up building flows you didn't need.

Are these written for Klaviyo specifically?

They're written from Klaviyo accounts, because that's what we build in and we're an official Klaviyo partner. The logic behind the flows, the splits and the delays transfers to any decent email platform, and the scorecard questions don't change.

Can I share them with my team, or use them in my own documents?

Share them internally as much as you like, and run them on your own account. If you want to point somebody at them, link to this page instead of pasting the contents: they get corrected and added to, and a stale copy helps nobody.

Having us do it instead
What if I would rather you just ran the scorecard on my account?

That's the discovery call. We run the same checks live with your account open, then tell you which three fixes we'd make first. You keep that list whether or not you ever hire us.

Do you charge for the full audit?

No. If the approach fits after the first call, the full audit follows within 48 hours and we walk you through every finding on a second call. It's how we decide whether to quote, and how you decide whether to listen.

Bring the account and we'll score it with you

We run the same twenty-five checks live on the call, then name the three fixes we'd make first. Yours to keep either way.
