FAQs

Are the results on this page verified?
Every figure comes straight out of the client's own Klaviyo account. The period is right there in the table above. We don't model, blend or annualise anything. If a client hasn't published a number, we leave the gap. That's why Thermos shows a return on investment and no revenue total.
Why are the reporting periods different lengths?
Because the engagements were. Thermos was a matter of weeks, straight into Black Friday 2024. Shadow Foam is one quarter, Patio Black Spot Removal eight months, Rebel Aromas and Village Wax Melts a full calendar year each. A growth percentage only means something against the same account a year earlier, so the period sits next to every figure.
What does email attributed revenue actually mean?
It's the revenue Klaviyo puts down to an email inside the client's own account. Not total store revenue. That's why two of these case studies quote email as a share of the whole business instead: 57% at Patio Black Spot Removal and 49% at Village Wax Melts.
Why is one of the figures in US dollars?
GenePro reports in US dollars, so the figure stays in dollars. Converting it means picking an exchange rate and then defending it. It's the only figure on this page that isn't sterling, and we never add it to anything else.
The case studies here are all retention programmes. Is that all you do?
Retention is the business, so yes. Email marketing is the backbone. Around it sits the rest of the retention stack: subscriptions and loyalty, WhatsApp and SMS, direct mail, and the lifecycle strategy that ties them together. Every programme we publish is retention work. These are the ones with a number worth printing and a client happy for us to print it.
How quickly do the numbers start moving?
Deliverability and a rebuilt welcome flow tend to pay first, because they keep working without anyone sending anything. Thermos went from underperforming to a record Black Friday in the weeks before it. The bigger programmes here ran eight to twelve months, and their figures are cumulative, not a first month snapshot.
What does an engagement cost, and am I tied in?
Most engagements are a one-off build cost, agreed before we start, then a monthly retainer for campaigns and optimisation. Thirty-day rolling, no lengthy contracts. If the numbers aren't moving, you leave, and everything we built keeps running in your account. No hard feelings.
